With an exclusive party which attracted the most prominent faces from across the UK gaming industry and beyond, EXCEL ESPORTS has launched its brand-new Headquarters in London.
The launch of the XL Headquarters signalled a significant moment in the growth of the organisation by cementing its roots in central London with a cutting edge 5660 sqft gaming facility.
The XL HQ facility has a tonne of features, from streaming rooms to a space for EXCEL ESPORTS' fans, teams, community and the wider gaming industry to enjoy, alongside production studios.
Uniquely positioned in Shoreditch, London the HQ will aim to be a centralised place for the UK gaming community and a hub from where EXCEL will grow its operational footprint to Europe.

EXCEL ESPORTS is pleased to announce a new chapter for the organisation which will see the promotion of current Esports Director, Tim Reichert to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Oskar Sisi take on the role of Marketing & Brand Director having previously been Creative Director.
The announcement follows the launch of the XL Headquarters which signalled a significant moment in the growth of the organisation by cementing its roots in central London with a cutting edge 5660 sqft gaming facility.
Since his appointment in October 2021, Tim has successfully driven the development and growth of EXCEL’s esports rosters which have included the entrance into new titles, the signing of world-class talents such as four-time back-to-back LEC winner Michael "Mikyx" Mehle and an increase in team performance including EXCEL’s first-ever LEC playoffs spot.
In his new role as COO, Tim will work closely alongside CEO Wouter Sleijffers to continue the success and growth of the EXCEL brand and its competitive rosters, where Wouter will further focus on the broader vision and future for the business in the fast-developing world of gaming and digital IP.
As Creative Director, Oskar recently worked to launch the #XLPlayoffs campaign which put the EXCEL community first by giving away limited edition items which were won by offering different challenges as well as engaging with its talent and LEC casters.
Thousands of people took part across EXCEL’s social channels showcasing its unique and innovative approach to brand engagement and community building. As Marketing & Brand Director, Oskar will extend his remit to EXCEL’s marketing efforts and continue to spearhead EXCEL’s brand vision and culture, focusing on growing its community through engaging and industry-leading content.
