Whether you're looking to start with one of the best and make it an unbeatable powerhouse or plan to develop a lower ranked school into something even better, nothing makes a bigger year-over-year impact than recruiting. If you want a top class, it helps to have more recruiting hours in College Football 25 Dynasty Mode.
How to Get More Recruiting Hours in College Football 25
When you kickoff any Dynasty Mode save, the first big task in the preseason is setting up your recruiting board for the year. Tons of different factors from your school's physical location to each coach's chosen pipeline will influence your success, but nothing makes a bigger difference than raw numbers.
If you want more recruiting hours in College Football 25, you need to raise the star rating, also known as team prestige, for your school. That's easier said than done, and there are some schools and categories that can't really be helped. After testing out Dynasty Mode saves of every team prestige level, we've figured out exactly how many recruiting hours each school rating is given:
- 5 Star School: 1250 Preseason Hours, 1000 Hours Weekly
- 4.5 Star School: 1125 Preseason Hours, 900 Hours Weekly
- 4 Star School: 1000 Preseason Hours, 800 Hours Weekly
- 3.5 Star School: 875 Preseason Hours, 700 Hours Weekly
- 3 Star School: 750 Preseason Hours, 600 Hours Weekly
- 2.5 Star School: 625 Preseason Hours, 500 Hours Weekly
- 2 Star School: 575 Preseason Hours, 450 Hours Weekly
- 1.5 Star School: 500 Preseason Hours, 400 Hours Weekly
- 1 Star School: 450 Preseason Hours, 350 Hours Weekly
While unlocking the Always Be Crootin' abilities for your coach will allow you to spend more weekly hours on specific positions, the only way to increase your weekly total is to improve your school's team prestige and get that star rating as high as possible. As frustratingly simple as it might seem, you mostly just need to win more games.
Setting up a schedule that's winnable and pits you against ranked or higher prestige opponents is the best way to do this, but you can always take your coaching elsewhere by accepting a job offer at the end of a season for a school that begins with higher prestige. If you'd rather build on a lower tier school, we've got a full guide here on how to increase team prestige.
