The return of College Football 25 has once again brought the student athlete experience to gaming, and Road to Glory offers players many different paths. Studying is critical to keep your academic eligibility current, but there's a way to dodge it entirely during your senior year. If you wanna get the most out of training in your final season, it's time to hit the books so you can graduate early in College Football 25.

When you're working your way through each week in College Football 25 Road to Glory, deciding how to spend energy can impact your XP progression as well as several mental abilities. If you choose to ignore academics, you can risk being ineligible and will miss out on Coach Trust boosts on top of the Fan Favorite ability.

To maximize the amount of training you can get, especially for those who want a 99 OVR player to export into Madden 25 Superstar Mode later this year, it helps to redshirt your first season and graduate early during your junior year. If you do want that extra year, check out our guide on the best school to redshirt at every position.

While it initially seemed like you might be able to combo the redshirt and graduating early to get two whole seasons without academics, in our testing so far it appears to only be possible to graduate after your junior year, redshirt or not. This means you'll have to keep your grades up for four full years if you redshirt and want to graduate early, but you do get the benefit of a whole extra season to boost XP and earn skill points.

The requirement to graduate early is having at least a 3.7 GPA at the end of each season, but we recommend just ensuring you've always got Academics as high as possible. Spend as many hours on it at the start of the season as you can, and keep it maxed out at all times. This will give you the top tier Fan Favorite ability which nets you increased composure gains at home and you'll get a passive boost to Coach Trust.

If you're spending energy on your Brand, keep in mind that doing so will usually cause a minor drop to your Academics. If you wanna chip away at Brand while aiming to graduate early, make sure you spend your Brand points first each week so that any energy spent on Academics isn't negated, and it can be maxed back out before you wrap up the Weekly Agenda.

If you balance your weeks well by keeping Health regenerated after Training, graduating early is a great path to setting up an eventual 99 OVR player. We hit 99 OVR during the final season, and if you dominate each weekly game you'll get even more XP and could potentially max out a few more ratings.

As long as you keep your GPA high enough, you'll get the Graduated notification after your junior year. For your final season in College Football 25 Road to Glory, you won't have to spend any weekly energy on Academics but will still benefit from the Coach Trust boost and max tier Fan Favorite ability.
