Dying Light 2: Stay Human features satisfying combat with an addictive gameplay loop that has you scrounging for valuable resources at night, fighting deadly infected with even deadlier weapons, and parkouring your way out when things become too heated. It's a simple yet effective system with a solid foundation that will have you coming back to Dying Light 2 long after the credits have rolled.
There are plenty of weapons and tools in your arsenal that makes killing both infected and enemy faction members a satisfying affair. One common yet effective tool is a good old Molotov. This classic zombie annihilator does area damage and is essential to take out hordes of infected together.
Molotovs are especially essential equipment when exploring the open world at night. While you can find them scattered around in the open world or buy them from vendors, being able to craft them anytime and anywhere is much better. As such, here's our guide on how you can craft Molotovs in Dying Light 2.
Molotovs in Dying Light 2
To craft Molotovs in Dying Light 2, you need the Molotov blueprint. You can get this from Sophie in the Bazaar after completing the story quest 'Unruly Brother'. The 'Unruly Brother' is the fifth main quest in Dying Light 2, which means you can acquire the Molotov blueprint quite early on in the game. This quest also rewards you with 1,000 combat and parkour XP so, if you're looking to level up your attributes, we recommend doing this mission before letting yourself loose in the open world.
Once you have acquired the Molotov blueprint from Sophie, you will need the following items to craft it:
- x10 Scraps
- x3 Rags
- x1 Alcohol
These items are pretty common, and you will come across them often in abandoned buildings, Forsaken Stores, and GRE Quarantine zones.
This concludes our guide on how to craft Molotovs in Dying Light 2. Don't forget to check out our ever-growing Dying Light 2 section for detailed guides, news, updates and more.
