One of Dragon's Dogma 2's main quests has players uncovering the secrets behind the false Sovran (or false Arisen), leading the true Arisen to a village in the east of Vermund. Called The Nameless Village, players will be warned to turn away from a traveller called Srail.
But turning away isn't an option, and deeper into the village you and your party must go. But the mysteries only begin here. We're here to walk you through the quest "A Nameless Village."
How To Complete A Nameless Village In Dragon's Dogma 2
After entering The Nameless Village and speaking with Srail, press on to the Inn, where you'll be stopped by a woman inside. Speak to her, though she won't provide many useful answers to your questions. Once you're done talking to her, head back outside and you'll see a Beastren woman waiting for you. Talk to her and she'll give you some hints for the next steps.
Note: If you don't see her immediately, travel around the village a bit until you notice that she's following you, then speak to her.
She'll tell you to "do to someone what [she] did to you." Essentially, what she means is to follow someone, but she doesn't tell you who or when.
"Do To Someone What I Did To You" In Dragon's Dogma 2 Explained
What you'll need to do is wait until nightfall, ensuring you're in the center of the village. You'll eventually see a group of villagers with lanterns heading up the hill. Follow behind them and they'll lead you past the manor at the top of the hill to cavern in the ground with a ladder coming up.
Head down the ladder and further into the cave where you'll be met with a cutscene showing you an obstacle course of sorts for you to make your way through. It's fairly easy and shouldn't take too long to get through. At the end, you'll spot a wooden door to go through where another cutscene will play, revealing that Srail has a bigger part to play after all.
Srail will answer the questions you've been hungry for. Make sure you exhaust all his dialogue options to move the quest along. You'll recieve the Pilferers' Handbook, useful for the Thief vocation, along with a warrant for the false Sovran's arrest. Head back to Vernworth and report to Captain Brant.
