Diablo Immortal Essence Transfer - How To Unlock, Extract And Inherit Powers

Diablo Immortal, the latest action RPG title from Blizzard Entertainment, is free-to-play on mobile and PC starting on 2nd June 2022. Prior to the game’s official launch, the developers have talked about the accessibility features and gameplay mechanics that Diablo Immortal will offer. One of these features is known as Essence Transfer.

Basically, it allows players to transfer a legendary item’s name, appearance, and perk to another. The eagle-eyed players, who have played the previous instalments of Diablo, might notice that Essence Transfer functions similar to Kanai's Cube. How to unlock Essence Transfer in Diablo Immortal

Essence Transfer is a reliable system in Diablo Immortal that lets you swap the legendary powers of your gears.

To unlock it, you will need two legendary items of the same type in your inventory. After that, you will need to visit a special NPC called Zamina next to the Rakkis Plaza Waypoint to use the Essence Transfer feature.

How to Extract Essences in Diablo Immortal

Once you’ve unlocked Essence Transfer, you need to make sure that you have at least two legendary items of the same type before starting essence extraction. After fulfilling the condition, speak to the NPC, Zamina, and navigate to the transfer menu.

Select Extract on the next page and choose any legendary item from which you want to extract the essence. Finally, spend Gold to extract from the selected legendary item. It’s worth noting that extracting Essences will destroy the legendary item in your inventory.

How to Inherit Essences in Diablo Immortal

Unlike the extraction process, inheriting Essences in Diablo Immortal is completely free. First, speak to the Essence Transfer NPC once again and select Inherit on the next screen.

Finally, choose a legendary item from the list to transfer the essence. Do note that items that inherit a specific power also change their name and appearance while keeping all their stats and upgrades.
