What is Death's Breath used for in Diablo 3?
There are a lot of uses for Death's Breath as a crafting reagent. The resource will continue to be used by players throughout each season, and there's always a way to spend it. This is partly due to some Kanai's Cube recipes requiring Death's Breaths.
Further uses include Enchanting, crafting high-level gems, and Death's Breath is also required to train artisans above level 10.

D3 Death's Breath: Best Farming Build & Set in Season 28
To farm Death's Breath, you simply need to kill elites, so any build will do. However, using one of the best solo builds can farm the resource faster; for example, if you are a Necromancer, use the Trag’Oul Death Nova build, or as a Barbarian, use the Wrath of the Wastes Whirlwind Build.
Nothing beats one specific build and set to farm Death's Breath, no matter what season of Diablo 3 you are in.
We are, of course, talking about the Sage's Journey set. This set can be crafted (Blacksmith at Rank 12), and it features the following items:
- Sage's Apogee (Helm)
- Sage's Passage (Boots)
- Sage's Purchase (Gloves)
- Sage's Ribbon (Belt)
There are two bonuses. The two-piece bonus offers +250 for all Core Stats. The three-piece bonus is what you are looking for, as it doubles all Death's Breath drops.
This set bonus works when you equip it on a follower, so use your best items on your character and throw three pieces onto your follower for maximum Death's Breath farming.
So there you have it, a complete guide to the Death's Breath item in Diablo 3. Now go forth, Nephalem, and farm this valuable resource without delay!
