Diablo 4: How To Complete Necrotic Research Side Quest Guide

Having just completed The Heretic Questline, you are probably wondering what other challenges await you in Sanctuary. Well, wonder no more because the next stage of your adventure begins with The Necrotic Research side quest in Diablo 4. But the question remains: Are you ready?

If not, don't worry! This guide will be your guiding beacon through the treacherous roads of Hawezar. Specifically, we will explain exactly how to complete The Necrotic Research in Diablo 4,  from finding all the Necrotic Flesh and Snake Venom to battling the Nangari Necromancer Elites.

Diablo 4: How To Complete Necrotic Research Side Quest

The Necrotic Research side quest will start exactly where the Poisoned Hearts side quest ended: With Aneta gone and you seeking more answers. So to start the quest, you will have to speak to Gulyas, who will inform you of the local cultist's intentions to become reborn as Nagari.

When speaking to Gulyas, you should choose the first dialog option: "Do you have a task for me." You will then need to find 1x Necrotic Flesh and 5x Snake Venom. After receiving the instruction, travel to the right of Zarbinzet, where you can find the ingredients.

Once at the location, you will have to kill several enemies, of which a few will be Nangari Necromancer Elites. They are not that strong, but if you are under-leveled, they may be more challenging. After slaying the Elites, they will drop the Necrotic Flesh and Snake Venom for you.

Continue to defeat these enemies in the designated area to obtain the required amount of each ingredient. Once you have enough Necrotic Flesh and Snake Venom for The Necrotic Research side quest in Diablo 4, return to Gulyas, who will be waiting for you.

Once you have returned to Gulyas, speak to her and choose the: " I have What you asked for" dialog option. She will tell you to give her a moment as she will need you again shortly. You will receive 20 Hawezar Renown, 16,960 XP, and 2400 Gold for completing the Necrotic Research side quest in Diablo 4. Now, you can continue by pursuing another side quest called Bad Blood.
