Diablo 4 Performance Issue: How To Fix Low FPS

First, you must ensure that your gaming rig meets the minimum Diablo 4 PC system requirements. It is always a good idea to also have some extra HDD space available (note the download size is roughly 45 GB). From here, there are some other fixes you can try if you experience Diablo 4 performance issues and a low frame rate.

As per Blizzard's official support page, you can check out the official steps below, which could fix low FPS and performance issues in Diablo 4:

1. If the Battle.net App is still downloading game data, allow it to finish the installation and try again.
2. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
3. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources. Note: This includes any Overlay programs you may be running.
4. If you're playing on a laptop, optimize your power management settings and graphics options.
5. Lower your in-game settings to improve performance.

This is, of course, fixes to performance issues for the PC version of Diablo 4, which players can tinker with. For the console version, we suggest waiting for an update, as it isn't really possible to fix performance troubles on a console yourself.
