Diablo 4 Echo of Duriel: How To Unlock & Unique Rewards

How To Unlock/Summon Echo of Duriel in Diablo 4

To summon Echo of Duriel in Diablo 4 as the final endgame boss, you will need two types of summoning materials, namely Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony. These materials are not easy to get at all, to say the least.

To get some Mucus-Slick Eggs, you will need to defeat Echo of Varshan in Diablo 4 on World Tier 4 difficulty and to get enough to summon Duriel, you might need to kill Echo of Varshan several times. 

To farm Shards of Agony, players will need to beat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint endgame boss in Diablo 4 Season 2, multiple times to get enough to summon Duriel. 

Once you've farmed enough summoning materials, you can face the Lord of Pain, Duriel, in its endgame uber boss form. We suggest keeping any summoning materials  you find, as Blizzard explains:

You’ll need to meet the summoning conditions of a boss each time you want to fight it, so hold on to any additional summoning materials that you might acquire during your travels.

Yes, you will have to repeat the process every time you want to face Echo of Duriel!

Diablo 4 Echo of Duriel Rewards & Unique Drops

First up, as you can see in the image above, Echo of Duriel has a chance of dropping the unique mount, Smoldering Brimstone!

Echo of Duriel also has a loot pool with Unique items that can only drop from this specific boss.
