Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted is nearing its conclusion, and until Season 18 arrives, the ongoing summer event titled Solstice of Heroes will keep everyone busy.
The Solstice event adds a new Candescent Armor Set as well as two new weapons for players to unlock. One of these weapons is a Hand Cannon called 'Something New' that comes with a brand new weapon trait. Here's our guide on Something New god rolls and how to get it.
Something New Hand Cannon PvE god roll
- Barrel - Fluted Barrel
- Magazine - High Caliber Rounds
- Perk - Triple Tap (Rapidly landing precision hits will return one round to the magazine).
- Perk - Headstone (Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim's location).
- Origin Trait - Dream Work (Once per reload, assists, or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves, potentially overflowing the magazine).
- Masterwork - Handling
- Mod - Minor Spec
Something New Hand Cannon PvP god roll
- Barrel - Fluted Barrel
- Magazine - High Caliber Rounds
- Perk - Harmony (Final blows with other weapons improve this weapon's damage and performance for a short duration).
- Perk - Wellspring (Kills with this weapon generate ability energy. This energy is divided between your uncharged abilities).
- Origin Trait - Dream Work (Once per reload, assists, or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves, potentially overflowing the magazine).
- Masterwork - Handling
- Mod - Quick Access Sling
How to get Something New Hand Cannon in Destiny 2
The only way to get the Something New Hand Cannon is by farming Solstice's Bonfire Bash activity. At the end of every Bonfire Bash run, you will get two Legendary Engrams that may or may not contain the Something New Hand Cannon.
