While the Shadowkeep expansion for Destiny 2 was widely considered the game's more lackluster release in some time, the Garden of Salvation Raid is one of the more fun and challenging endeavors in the game even more than 4 years since its original release.
Garden of Salvation is one of the many Raids that rotates into the Featured Raid slot each week, offering a Pinnacle reward for completing the final boss encounter. While that Pinnacle reward might be nice for people still chasing some extra Power Levels, the gear on offer in the Raid itself is still some of Destiny 2's finest and we recommend jumping in for a few runs with friends to grab some of the gear it has to offer. Let's take a stroll through the Garden and break down where to get each weapon and armor piece in the Garden of Salvation Raid.

Destiny 2 Garden of Salvation Raid Overview
The Garden of Salvation Raid has a set of Vex-themed gear for each of Destiny 2's classes as well as 7 different weapons to get your hands on. Similarly to most Raids and Dungeons in the game, Garden of Salvation does have an Exotic weapon to collect, but rather than it dropping from the final boss randomly, the Divinity requires players to complete a quest. Divinity is an incredibly powerful weapon for support in things like Raids and Dungeons depending on your builds, so we definitely recommend going through the trouble to get it.
Destiny 2 Garden of Salvation Raid Loot Table
First Encounter | Second Encounter | Third Encounter | Final Boss |
Zealot's Reward (Void Fusion Rifle) | Prophet of Doom (Arc Shotgun) | Ancient Gospel (Solar Hand Cannon) | Omniscient Eye (Solar Sniper Rifle) |
Accrued Redemption (Kinetic Bow) | Reckless Oracle (Void Auto Rifle) | Sacred Provenance (Kinect Pulse Rifle) | Temptation's Class item Armor |
Ascendancy Leg Armor | Exaltation Gauntlet Armor | Transcendence Chest Armor | Righteousness Helm Armor |
Evade The Consecrated Mind Encounter Loot
The first encounter introduces the tether mechanic and has players playing leapfrog. This encounter is fun once you understand how the Vex boxes work. Be patient, this mechanic can seem fiddly at first, but clear comms and you'll get to the other side, no problem. Keep an eye out for the Bow or the Fusion Rifle!
Weapons | Armor |
Zealot's Reward (Void Fusion Rifle) | Ascendancy Leg Armor |
Accrued Redemption (Kinetic Bow) | - |
Summon The Consecrated Mind Encounter Loot
More so than the previous encounter, this one will challenge most teams' mettle and was the encounter that put many Day One Raid teams in their place. Patience is key here again, but the shotgun that can drop here is well worth the headache!
Weapons | Armor |
Prophet of Doom (Arc Shotgun) | Exaltation Gauntlet Armor |
Reckless Oracle (Void Auto Rifle) | - |
Defeat The Consecrated Mind Encounter Loot
After going through all the trouble to summon the boss, now it's time to wreck it. Once you've done so, you'll get the chance to catch the Hand Cannon or the Pulse Rifle, both of which are still very fun to run even in the current meta!
Weapons | Armor |
Ancient Gospel (Solar Hand Cannon) | Transcendence Chest Armor |
Sacred Provenance (Kinect Pulse Rifle) | - |
Conquer The Sanctified Mind
The final boss of this relatively short Raid is the Sanctified Mind. This is one of the more frustrating boss fights in the game as an unorganized or unfamiliar LFG team could crumble under the pressure of sacrificing Goblins or floors getting deleted, but don't worry. Once you've crushed the boss, you'll get to find your way to the chest for the Sniper or one of the last two armor pieces!
Weapons | Armor |
Omniscient Eye (Solar Sniper Rifle) | Temptation's Class item Armor |
- | Righteousness Helm Armor |
Bonus: Garden of Salvation Raid Secret Hidden Chests
While Garden of Salvation is a shorter Raid, there are still two hidden chests. One is tucked away in a corner of the Undergrowth between the first and second encounters, and the other is near the end of the long walk to the final boss, hidden in a large hollowed-out tree, after defeating the Consecrated Mind in the third encounter. Collecting these chests will grant additional opportunities at rewards that you've already collected, but will not offer any new rewards, so if you're on your first run, best to hold off unless you're just dying to know where they are.
