Destiny 2 Season of Plunder is in full swing, with Bungie adding new story missions every week. The road to the Lightfall expansion continues, and if you're in the market for a powerful PvP weapon or an end-game PvE weapon, Riptide might be worth your time.
Riptide is a Statis Fusion Rifle in Destiny 2 that was first introduced in Season of the Haunted. It packs some solid perks and is surprisingly easy to acquire.
Here's everything you need to know about Riptide in Destiny 2, including info on how to get it and our take on its PvP and PvE god rolls.
How to get Riptide in Destiny 2
You can get Riptide in Destiny 2 by playing the Crucible game mode. Riptide drops randomly from Crucible playlists, so you should get one sooner rather than later.
- Destiny 2 Season of Plunder - Planck's Stride Machine Gun God Roll
- Destiny 2 - How To Get Stormchaser Linear Fusion Rifle And God Roll
- Destiny 2 Season Of The Plunder - All New Exotic Weapons, Armor
- Destiny 2 Lightfall Release Date, Story, Strand Subclass, More
While you can't directly increase the drop rate of Riptide in Destiny 2, you can increase the number of legendary gear you acquire from playlist activities by equipping the Crucible variant of the Prosperity ghost mod.
