How To Customize Your Character In Demonologist

If you're ghost hunting in Demonologist, you can thankfully survive your next hunt in style thanks to the game's ability to customize your character. You can equip brand-new outfits, choose your gender, and make edits to your character's appearance in a variety of ways. When playing with friends, they'll be able to see your new fashions as well.

How To Customize Your Character In Demonologist

To edit your character, head to the Main Menu and stop at the title screen. From there, you'll see your character on the screen. Beneath them, it will say "Customize Character." Select this button, and you'll be able to access a reasonably comprehensive customization menu. The menu allows you to change your character's appearance. It's free to change your appearance, but you'll also be able to buy new clothing items using in-game money. Keep in mind that clothing is gender-locked.

Once you're done, just save your presets, and you're good to go.

If you want to change your character's sex as well, you'll want to head to the Presets tab from the title screen. There, you can switch to male from female or vice-versa. You can change your gender in this game at any time, so feel free to switch it up whenever you're feeling like you want a change.

If you're looking to change other aspects of your profile, like your safe house or pet, you can't do that in this same menu. Instead, you'll need to go to Shivers Real Estate. Here, you can purchase different house-related items and equip them.

Can You Change Your Appearance In A Match?

Unfortunately, there's no way to change your appearance mid-match in Demonologist. You'll need to do so from the main menu before you go out ghost-hunting and complete any existing ghost hunts before you're able to make those changes.
