Dead Cells is a Rouge-like game that was released a couple of years ago. Over time, more and more DLC has been added to this high-action game, and it has garnered a lot of attention. So much so that Konami teamed up with Motion Twin for a new DLC pack called Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania which was highly reviewed.
Players were very excited to get back to their Castlevania roots and explore familiar areas, and even have the opportunity to play as Richter Belmont himself. One thing that players were most interested in is fighting Dracula himself. Here, we will give you a guide to taking down Dracula in this Castlevania DLC for Dead Cells.
How To Beat Dracula's First Form In Dead Cells Return To Castlevania
Dracula has two forms in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC. The first form will be the most familiar for players as his humanoid form acts very similarly to what he did in previous Castlevania games. The key to defeating Dracula is to dodge his attacks and get behind him. Once you get behind him, attack as fast as possible. Playing passively will not win you this fight as Dracula is relentless in his attacks.
There are two pieces of equipment we recommend for this fight. The Phaser ability will allow you to teleport behind Dracula, dodging all of his attacks and giving you the most time to attack him. The second is to have a deployable trap and place it in the middle of the room, so it is always attacking Dracula. The deployable trap will also take some hits as well, so it can double up as a shield. Do not let up, get behind Dracula, and you should be able to defeat him.
How To Beat Dracula's Final Form In Dead Cells Return To Castlevania
Once you whittle down Dracula's first form to zero HP, he will drop a bunch of items, including weapons. Do not accidentally take a weapon that is weaker than your own. For Final Form Dracula, consistent moving will be the key to survival. Final Form Dracula will launch attacks from below, and players will have a very small window of opportunity to dodge them.
Since the area is large in this fight, the Phaser's ability will be good to teleport you on Dracula. One key note is that Dracula will have an attack when he clings onto the tower, creating rocks to hit you. If you get right on Dracula during this part, not only will you dodge every rock, but you will have free time to attack him as much as you can. Keep moving, get on him while he is still, dodge his laser attacks, and you should be on your way to defeating Final Form Dracula.
