Can You Get To IP Island In Hooked On You?

Let's dive in and find out if you can get to the distant IP Island and see other killers and survivors in Hooked on You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Simulator.
Can You Get To IP Island In Hooked On You?

The distant IP Island is mentioned several times in Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Simulator, and it sounds like a pretty luxurious place based on what the characters say about it.

Even the fanciful Trickster says it's a location to brag about, making many players wonder if you can, in fact, get to IP Island in Hooked on You, Dead by Daylight's silly spin on its own horror game. In this article, we'll answer that burning question and explain whether you can get to IP Island in the game.

IP Island is mentioned a lot, so it makes sense that lots of fans would wonder how to get to the other island in Hooked on You. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to get to IP Island in Hooked On You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Simulator.

The island only exists as a bit of a running joke in the game, and to explain why so many killers are missing from the island. There are lots of killers and survivors who supposedly live on the island, which the game developers cannot show.

Showing licensed characters in Hooked on You would require Behaviour and Psyop to reach out to their partners and likely pay lots of extra money in licensing fees. Developers would also probably face challenges with depicting licensed characters in a non-serious game like a dating simulator.

Just because you can't reach IP Island doesn't mean you can't get a glimpse of all the fun going on over there. You get a glimpse of Ghost Face through your binoculars toward the end of The Huntress' story, peering from across the water and offering a little wave.

Because Behaviour Interactive has acquired the license for the Ghost Face mask but not any of the Ghost Face characters pictured in movies or other media, they are able to show their own version of Ghost Face, Danny Johnson, with no licensing issues.
