How to Unlock Scrooge McDuck's Shop in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time

With the addition of Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time, a whole new region is available to players. However, that also means that even experienced dreamers will have to go back to basics by unlocking Scrooge McDuck's shop once again.

You'll also net a bundle of gold coins in the process, so there's no reason not to help Scrooge McDuck reopen this new location. We'll go over how you can find all the resources he needs in this Disney Dreamlight Valley guide.

How to Unlock Scrooge McDuck's Shop in Eternity Isle

When you first arrive in Eternity Isle, it'll be a bit reminiscent of the early game for the valley itself. Key features like Chez Remy, Goofy's Stall, and the Scrooge McDuck shop are present but closed when you first start Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time.

If you want to easily be able to check the shop inventory while in Eternity Isle, rather than being forced to fast travel back to the valley first, you need to start the quest "New Ventures (And Adventures)" with Scrooge McDuck. Fortunately, this one isn't hard to get rolling as you simply need to approach the boarded up shop.

Once you interact with the shuttered building, you should have a Condemned Building Sign. Locate Scrooge McDuck in Eternity Isle, and once you speak to him and give him the sign things will get started.

How to Find Copper, Quartz, and Pearls

After speaking to Scrooge McDuck, he will of course request some materials to get the shop renovated and back open. You need to find the following:

• 25x Copper
• 24x Pearl
• 15x Quartz

As for the copper and quartz, those will both be found by mining. Bring along a mining companion to speed up collection, and copper should be attainable by mining rock nodes in Ancient's Landing, the Glittering Dunes, or the Wild Tangle. Quartz will only be in Ancient's Landing, and will likely be contained to rock nodes on the wall and not copper rocks that spawn in the open.

Finally you need some pearls, and the best bet is to grab a digging companion and just start tearing up the ground at The Docks, Courtyard, Overlook, and Ruins in Ancient's Landing. If you want to be efficient with this task, pick an area to establish an Eternity Isle farm and gather your pearls while getting it set up.

Once you have all the items, go deliver them to Scrooge McDuck and he'll finally get his shop up and running. This Eternity Isle location will use the same reset and respawn timers as the main one in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
