Toxic Zones were first introduced in the 1.14 update of DayZ and can be found throughout the map. They are filled with a deadly gas that can quickly take out players. However, those who can navigate through these hazardous zones may be rewarded with high-quality loot.
Toxic Zones are not to be taken lightly, and players are strongly advised to avoid them unless they have the proper NBC suit to protect themselves from the toxic gas. If players are well-equipped and ready to face the danger, then read below as we show you all the Toxic Zone locations in DayZ.
DayZ - All Toxic Zone Locations
At the time of writing, there are currently four Toxic Zone locations in DayZ. The first two zones are in Chernarus, and the second two are in Livonia and are static, meaning they are fixed and don't move.
Other toxic zones may spawn randomly, but the two in each of these areas are fixed and can be found in the locations listed below.
Chernarus Toxic Zone Locations
There are two fixed Toxic zones on the Chernarus map, which are hotspots for spawning the best high-tier loot. One such zone can be found on the northeastern shoreline, where a beached cargo ship marks the location at Rify Shipwreck.
The other permanent Toxic Zone is situated at Pavlovo Military Base, in the southwestern region of the map. The fixed locations are indicated on the map image provided by the red circles and have a radius of approximately 100-150 meters.
Livonia Toxic Zone Location
The Livonia map contains two fixed toxic zones as well. The first of these zones is located in the center of the map between Lembork and Nadbór at the Radunin village.
The second location is situated a bit further north by Gliniska Airfield, adjacent to the river. Similar to the previous map, these areas are denoted by red circles with a radius of around 100 to 150 meters.
Additionally, there are several potential locations where Dynamic Toxic Zones may appear, which are represented by orange circles on the map. Typically, three to six Dynamic Toxic Zones will randomly spawn on the map, with a radius of 75 meters each, offering players additional opportunities to discover valuable loot.
And there you have it, a full breakdown of the locations of the static Toxic Zones in DayZ. Be sure to prepare yourself for the journey through these areas to stand the highest chance of making it there and back in one piece.
