Watch malbsMd Put Two NAVI Players to The Knife | BLAST Fall Final

At the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, G2 Esports faced NAVI in the grand finale, and it was nothing short of a spectacle and a showcase of incredible skill, with the deadly duo, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov as the spearhead of G2 lifting the trophy.

They've been praised enough, however, and for me, one of the most entertaining plays of the grand finale didn't come from either of them. No, it came from G2's Guatemalan rifler, Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa.

The opening map in the Grand Final did set the tone, and it was super close in the first half, with teams tied 6-6. As teams switched sides, G2 found themselves on the T side and got a bomb plant in the critical pistol round. A post-plant situation and defuse attempt from NAVI was intense on the A site.

When malbsMd entered the A site to stop NAVI's defuse, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen was already on the bomb with a kit. malbsMd ran through the smoke and knifed Aleksib, stopping the defuse with only 1.61 seconds left on the clock.

With a clear hunger for blood, malbsMd didn't stop there and also knifed EPL S20 and Major MVP Justinas "jL" Lekavičius as if it was just another day in the office. Check out the whole clip of the double-knife against NAVI below. 

malbsMd joined G2 Esports back in June 2024 from M80 and has risen to the test of S-Tier tournaments and opposition extremely quickly.

He's had a huge event, with several memorable clutches, multi-kills, and taking a lot of responsibility on himself as both Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski wasn't in the best of form. malbsMd is quickly becoming a rock for G2 esports, and his skill level is frightening. 

That's not the only super-impressive knife kill we saw at BLAST Fall Final 2024, as I thoroughly enjoyed Team Liquid's young AWPer, Roland "Ultimate" Tomkowiak stabbing the great Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut on Nuke.
