Sitting close to the top spot of Valve's Rankings, FaZe have had an impressive run this year, culminating in a win at IEM Chengdu and securing their place at IEM Cologne later this year. But it hasn't all been trophies and glory. Despite making their way to the finals on multiple occassions, FaZe has come up short in just as many face-offs.
And no one is more aware of this than FaZe themselves. Speaking to BLAST.tv, FaZe's rain reflected on the team's performance and some calling it FaZe's 'dip': "Overall, our entire year has been a little disappointing in that sense. Even though we've been to a lot of finals, not winning them is what hurts the most, right?" rain said.
"The first loser is second place, so that's how we feel. We definitely want to have some revenge and end the season on a strong note here in London."
FaZe are competing in the BLAST Premier Spring Final, taking place at London's Wembley Arena from June 12 to 16, 2024. Their first match will be against SAW in the Group stages, "We should have a pretty chance of beating them, we're the favourites for sure," rain continued. "It's all about making sure we have a good start to the tournament as well as coming in hot and making sure it isn't too close."
