BLAST Fall Final 2024 Opening Matchups For Both Groups Revealed

As an avid Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fan, I am incredibly excited for the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 to take place. It is the only big CS2 BLAST event left before we get to the crowning World Final in December.

The best CS2 teams in the world are competing at the Forum Copenhagen venue in Denmark for their share of the huge prize pool of $425,000, and one spot at the World Final 2024 is on the line. From our experience at the Spring Final in London, both attendees and viewers from the Fall Final will have an absolutely fantastic and memorable experience.

The BLAST Fall Final 2024 runs from 25 to 29 September 2024 and will feature a double-elimination GSL-style Group Stage, followed by a single-elimination bracket playoffs.

We can now get hyped for the opening matches of both Group A and Group B, as BLAST Premier has revealed the schedule and matchups. Check them out below, and keep in mind that this is in CEST time.

Group A Opening Matches:

• NAVI vs. Team Falcons - 25 September at 12:00 CEST
• G2 Esports vs. FaZe Clan - 25 September at 14:30 CEST

Group B Opening Matches:

• Team Vitality vs. Astralis - 25 September at 17:00 CEST
• Team Spirit vs. Team Liquid - 25 September at 19:30 CEST

That's one exciting opening day! There's no clear "Group of Death" in this one, as all teams competing are considered some of the best in the world. I would give Group B a bit of an edge due to Team Liquid's recent increase in form, making them nearly as strong a contender as Team Spirit or even Team Vitality.

Based on recent results and stats, NAVI should beat Team Falcons, while G2 Esports should destroy FaZe Clan, as Karrigan's men have been on a downward spiral. We can't wait to see the Astralis vs. Team Vitality matchup, especially with cadiaN joining the Danish side, making the must-watch affair, which Vitality will likely win.
