The Group Stage of BLAST Open Season 1 Lisbon has been epic, to say the least. We watched as the best 16 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams from across the globe competed for only six spots in the Playoffs in two double-elimination format (GSL-style) groups.
In Group A, we saw Team Vitality at the top of the pile, with MOUZ in a close second and the highest-ranked team in the world, Team Spirit, scraping past Virtus.pro for the last spot. At Group B of the BLAST Open Season 1 Lisbon event, Turkish powerhouse Eternal Fire bested NAVI for a top spot, while NAVI came in second, and G2 Esports managed to overcome The MongolZ for a final spot.
Let's take a look at the Playoffs Stage, which begins on 28 March!
