With COD Mobile Season 4 arriving this week, the Man-O-War could see a renaissance of its own that brings it back into the meta. In the past, the slow-firing assault rifle has been known to dominate, but it has also been nerfed fairly hard to change that.
Full patch notes attributed to COD Mobile Season 4 have yet to be completely outlined, but the main changes have become available. The Man-O-War will receive a bump to the overall damage output on each shot. On a weapon in which each shot matters, the buff could really shake up the tiers.
COD Mobile Season 4 - Best Man-O-War loadout
There are a lot of benefits to using the Man-O-War in a COD Mobile Season 4 loadout such as boosts to damage that other options in class don't offer. It's the control and the damage per shot that separates the Black Ops 3 rifle assault rifle, and it has always boasted a high TTK.
- Barrel: OWC Ranger
- Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Granulated Grip Tape
- Laser: OWC Laser - Tactical
- Ammunition: 30 Round Extended Mag
The OWC Ranger barrel is the first part of the loadout and is one of the centerpieces. Many different loadouts will revolve around certain barrels, and the Ranger will reinforce the damage on each shot. Many builds will drop a barrel attachment, but in those cases, the Man-O-War may receive some control issues.
As for the underbarrel, the Strike Foregrip typically gives you the best bang for your buck. Reduced bullet spread and vertical recoil control are the two main attractions here, and they are given without any hit to the overall ADS speed. It's a great way to get more control and stay quick in a match.

Granulated Grip Tape is another classic attachment for most assault rifles, and reduced bullet spread is the main focus of this rear grip. With every other attachment on the list, bullets will be sent downrange with plenty of accuracy.
For the laser, the OWC Laser is the best option by far. This attachment provides more accuracy along with plenty of ADS speeded, which is crucial. The laser is also only visible while in an ADS state.
An ammunition attachment is the final piece to the puzzle. Many players will want the 35 rounds on the Man-O-War, but the 30 Round Extended Mag is more than enough. Using the 30-round mag will ensure there is no penalty to ADS speed, which the 35-round will cause.
