Modern Warfare 2: How To Use Mouse & Keyboard On PS5 And Xbox

The latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, is now available across all platforms. Like most AAA live-service multiplayer titles, Modern Warfare 2 supports crossplay and cross-progression.

Another noteworthy feature that Modern Warfare 2 surprisingly has is the Mouse & Keyboard support on PS5 and Xbox consoles. Modern Warfare 2 Mouse and Keyboard Support Explained

Thankfully, using Mouse and Keyboard in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is very easy. First, plug in both the peripheral devices in the USB ports on the front or back of your PS5 and Xbox devices.

You don't have to install any complex software to make the Keyboard and Mouse work in MW 2. 
Boot up the game, go to Settings, and select the Controller option. When here, change the input device to Mouse and Keyboard, and the devices will start functioning smoothly in the campaign and multiplayer game modes.

And that's pretty much it. Following the steps above should allow you to have a PC CoD experience on your consoles. Thankfully, Modern Warfare 2 isn't the only Call of Duty game to have full Mouse and Keyboard support on consoles. Titles like Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, Vanguard, and Warzone also have this feature.

While Activision has yet to confirm officially, it's very likely that the upcoming Warzone 2.0 will also have Mouse and Keyboard support on modern consoles.
