Call of Duty: Vanguard launches across all major gameplay platforms on 5th November, and fans are brewing with excitement. The STG44 was one of the more popular guns during the COD Vanguard beta, and it's easy to see why it made our S-tier weapon list. It's an absolute brute of an assault rifle, packing serious damage, fast time-to-kill and manageable recoil, making it deadly in the right hands.
Given its impressive stats, there are a few things you can do to push the STG44's boundaries even further. Indeed, with ten attachments to choose from in an assortment of combinations, it is hard to determine the most optimal build for the STG44. But, of course, you need not worry because we have you covered. So, with that said, here's the best STG44 gunsmith class setup at the launch of COD Vanguard.
Best STG44 gunsmith loadout in COD Vanguard
The STG44 is a reasonably balanced weapon, which allows you to be quite flexible with your build to match your desired playstyle. This could include matching attachments to improve mobility or to make the STG44 the ultimate killing machine. Relatedly, it is worth noting that the STG44 is best used in mid-range engagements.
The following balanced build optimises the STG44 for any playstyle whilst retaining its high TTK and damage output you know and love.
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: VDD 760MM 05B
- Optic: (Personal Preference)
- Stock: VDD 27 Precision
- Underbarrel: M1941 Handstop
- Magazine: .30 Russian Short 20 Rnd
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
- Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
- Kit: Fully Loaded
The F8 Stabiliser and the VDD 760MM 05B will improve recoil control and damage range. However, you could also opt for the Krausnick 317MM 04B instead. Both of these attachments come at the slight cost of ADS, but we can attenuate this dropoff with the other attachments.
Next, we have the VDD 27 Precision to boost ADS speed and recoil control. If you aren't too worried about the ADS dropoff from the previous two attachments, you can run with No Stock to benefit from improved mobility, ADS and Sprint To Fire speed. Your choice of Optic is based on your preference, so run with whatever you feel most comfortable.
The M1941 Handstop will also improve recoil control; however, this primarily compensates for picking up the .30 Russian Short 20 Round Mags. As a result, this attachment will buff damage velocity and range, damage at the expense of recoil control and accuracy.
Next, we've gone with Lengthened ammo to buff bullet velocity and Stippled Grip for apparent reasons. Next, sleight of Hand will improve the STG44's reload quickness and then lastly, Fully Loaded will ensure that you don't run out of ammo.
And that's it! Do you disagree with this loadout? Great, we don't care. But, if you want something else to be disappointed about, then be sure to check out the following article.
