Assault Rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone are some of the most versatile guns in the game. Some pack a punch but limited range, others are jack-of-all-trades, then there's the M13, featuring a lower TTK, but with an incredible rate of fire and range.
Depending on the attachments, the M13 can help you gain an advantage before your enemies know you're on top of them. Of course, at close range, it might not compete with the most busted guns in the game (looking at you MAC-10), but if you're looking for a reliable alternative to a proper sniper rifle in your loadout, look no further than this AR.
We're going to make a few things clear, starting with the fact that almost everything in this loadout is personal preference and you might feel comfortable running an entirely different setup.

Second of all, as you can see on our Assault Rifle tier list for Season 2 of Warzone, the M13 is pretty high on our list, however, it's not the absolute best gun in this category, so head out to our dedicated article about the archetype for more information.
With that said, let's break down the M13.

Here's a quick list of everything we attached to this version of the M13.
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Termpus Marksman
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Optic: Integral Hybrid
- Ammunition: 50 Round Mags
As this M13 is designed around mid to long-range combat, the Compensator gives us a better Recoil Control in return for slower Aim Down Sight Speed, a favourable trade if we keep our distance from the enemies.
The Tempus Marksman is a must-have if you're going for a ranged build. That extra Recoil Control, Bullet Velocity, and Damage Range are too good to pass on. Sure, you'll lose even more ADS speed and Movement Speed, but as we've said, you'll have plenty of time to aim if you keep your distance.
The Tac Laser is the most debatable attachment here, we know, but personally, that extra Aiming Stability paired with the insane recoil control makes this gun super accurate AR.
Finally, we know a decent mag size is important, and we opted for the 50 Round Mags. You can try out the 60, but we feel the 50 rounds hit a better balance between ammo capacity and the penalties to ADS speed.
So there you have it! We have tons more gun guides to help you dominate Verdansk, so why don't you check out our best LC10 loadout and best PP19 Bizon loadout.
