Best Krig 6 loadout for Warzone Season 5

The long-awaited Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 patch is here and brings major changes to the game. Beyond the shiny new battle pass, there is also a slew of new additions, including new POIs, a new Gulag, several new modes, and two new powerful, high-calibre weapons.

Interestingly, the present patch of Warzone does not include any weapons balance changes (yet) but that doesn't mean you should settle with the same loadout or class setup as in Season 4. The introduction of new weapons is sure to change the pace of the ever-evolving meta in the game. With that said, here is the best Krig 6 gunsmith class setup in Warzone Season 5.

The Krig 6 Assault Rifle (AR) joined our S-tier weapons list for Warzone Season 5 making it a "must-have" in Verdansk or Rebirth Island. It is easily considered to be one of the best meta weapons (along with the FARA 83 and C58).

YouTuber, Chuck, praised the Krig 6 recently and dubbed it the "best weapon to use in Warzone right now" because it has no recoil, laser accuracy and a decent damage profile. He also mentioned that the gun doesn't even need a foregrip because it is "just that good", and we totally agree.

We've mirrored Chuck's loadout, indicated below:

• Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
• Barrel: 15" CMV Mil-Spec
• Optic: Axial Arms 3x
• Rear Grip: Dropshot Wrap
• Ammunition: STANAG 60 RND

As indicated before, the Agency Suppressor Muzzle is a non-negotiable attachment for pretty much all ARs after the mass TTK nerf in Season 4 Reloaded. This attachment will provide sound suppression but also boost vertical recoil control, bullet velocity and effective damage range.

The 15" CMV Mil-Spec Barrel will further boost bullet velocity, effective damage range and recoil control (in both planes) and is equivalent to the Task Force Barrel. A decent alternative would be to run the 19.7" Ranger Barrel, whichever is your preference.

Of course, another "must-have" is the STANAG 60 Rnd Ammunition to bolster ammo capacity, with a Dropshot Wrap Reargrip for improved aim down sight time and flinch resistance. Chuck explains that this will assist to keep you "more on target" when enemies are shooting at you and has no cons.

Finally, the Axial Arms 3x Optic is our wrap-up attachment although your choice of Optic is largely based on personal preference. An alternative to use would be the Royal and Cross 4x Optic if you have no qualms with the further scope zoom.

And there you have it, the best Krig 6 loadout in Warzone Season 5 with pretty much no recoil. This loadout will greatly improve your chances of dominating in the new meta across Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
