Bendy Movie Is "Definitely Moving Forward", TheMeatly Confirms

More news might be coming on the Bendy and the Ink Machine Movie soon, with creator and developer TheMeatly announcing that he's "definitely moving forward" with a "famous and brilliant individual that really seems to get 'Bendy'."

He said that he can't spill more news about the movie quite yet, but will be able to share more "hopefully soon." Fans began speculating about who the "famous and brilliant individual" is - whether it's a director, actor, or someone else interested in working on adapting the games for the big screen. 

TheMeatly first announced the upcoming film back in December 2023, as a Christmas surprise for fans. There have been few updates on the movie since then, but TheMeatly has posted regular updates about other projects. It seems likely that the film is still in pre-production, and fans will get to see more of what's in store along the way.

So far, no cast members have officially been named - nor has the movie gotten an official title or finalized script, as far as fans know. It's likely more information will be coming soon, but it all depends on what TheMeatly and other collaborate choose to share - and when they choose to share it.

The announcement of the Bendy and the Ink Machine movie by Radar Pictures and Joey Drew Studios comes shortly after the huge box office success of fellow mascot horror franchise Five Nights at Freddy's. As the first Bendy film begins development, the second Five Nights at Freddy's Movie is scheduled for a late 2025 release.
