The Bendy Movie is set to include both practical effects and CGI polish, franchise creator TheMeatly wrote on X/Twitter. "When it comes to the #BENDYMOVIE, I am a huge fan of practical effects and letting talented performers bring things to life on set," he explained.
"I’m aiming for a combination of both practical effects and CGI polish to pull it all together," he further confirmed. "We are working with creative people who tend to feel the same." However, TheMeatly finished off with a reminder to fans that he's new in Hollywood - so there are "no promises yet," though the team is doing their best.
While there aren't any graphics or other leaked content available quite yet for the movie, TheMeatly has made a few comments about what he has planned for it. In another recent post, the series creator pointed out that he doesn't want the film to be "trendy" or "overly flashy" - instead, he hopes it's a "timeless horror film" that can stand on its own.
TheMeatly also just recently confirmed that the Bendy movie will move forward with a celebrity who "really gets" the IP, but the creator didn't provide any further details about who that may be, or what role they'll play in the film or its directing. The film was first announced back in December 2023, when TheMeatly posted on X/Twitter telling fans that the movie is on the way.
In addition to the upcoming movie, there are a lot of other new additions in store for the Bendy and the Ink Machine franchise. TheMeatly has officially announced that Bendy 3 is in the works, along with Bendy: The Cage, Lone Wolf, and the Silent City. Fans have also discovered a trademark for the title "Bendy's Rubberhose Revenge," suggesting that even more games could be on the way in the future.
