Assassin's Creed Mirage offers a variety of activities that can keep you away from taking out the leaders of The Order. Most of these activities reward you with new gear for Basim, while some offer cosmetic items that many would be interested in. Among many of these activities, one of the mainline ones is finding Mysterious Shards, a part of Nehal's Investigation. 

Finding the location of all Mysterious Shards is daunting as they spawn only when you progress a certain Investigation in the game to an extent. Moreover, they become visible on the map only when a region is explored and the nearby key locations are discovered. 

So, to make things easier, we are here with a detailed guide that shares the location of all ten Mysterious Shards in Assassin's Creed Mirage while sharing the prerequisites required to spawn them. 

All Mysterious Shards Location In Assassin's Creed Mirage

After assassinating Al-Ghul, when you make your way to Nehal's old home in Anbar as a part of the "Old Wounds" quest, Nehal will tell you about her search for the meaning behind the symbol on the artifact that the Hidden Ones and The Order are after. 

Once you progress through the Old Wounds quest and get her Investigation active, make "The Ancient Palace" section of the Investigation active and make your way to the hidden ancient palace.

That being said, once you make your way inside the Hidden Palace and get the objective "Reveal the Chamber's Secrets," you will be ready to find all the Mysterious Shards. 

Before that, the Mysterious Shards do not spawn in the game world, so ensure you progress the quest until the said section. 

Assuming you have followed the instructions so far, remember each region in Baghdad offers two Mysterious Shards. 

• Wilderness: 2 Mysterious Shards
• Harbiyah: 2 Mysterious Shards
• Abbasiyah: 2 Mysterious Shards
• Karkh: 2 Mysterious Shards
• Round City: 2 Mysterious Shards

Tips: You can zoom in on the explored area in the above regions to find the location of the Mysterious Shard. The people holding the shards keep moving, so the exact location may sometimes vary slightly. 

Mysterious Shard Location 1

The first Mysterious Shard is located between the Dyeing Factory and the Upper Harbor in the Harbiyah region. 

Once you arrive at the Mysterious Shard location, kill the person holding the shard or pickpocket the Shard if you prefer Stealth. 

Note: At every Mysterious Shard location, you will find a member of The Order holding the Shard. Along with the members of The Order, you will also find two guards accompanying them. So, either steal the Mysterious Shard from the person holding it or kill him. 

Mysterious Shard Location 2

The second Mysterious Shard is located between the Damascus Gate Prison and the Great Mosque in the Harbiyah region. 

Mysterious Shard Location 3

The third Mysterious Shard is located south of The Four Markets, near the bridge in the Abbasiyah region. 

Mysterious Shard Location 4

The fourth Mysterious Shard is located south of Hammam, a historical location in the Abbasiyash region. 

Mysterious Shard Location 5

The fifth Mysterious Shard is located between the Halanah and Tabik in the Karkh region. 

Mysterious Shard Location 6

The sixth Mysterious Shard is located north of Tabik in the Karkh region. Once you make your way to the above location, kill the holder or steal the shard. 

Mysterious Shard Location 7

The seventh Mysterious Shard is located in Basim's hometown, Anbar, which comes in the Wilderness region and can be found in the northmost part of the game map. 

Mysterious Shard Location 8

The eighth Mysterious Shard is located in Jarjaraya, found in the southern part of the Wilderness. 

Mysterious Shard Location 9

The ninth Mysterious Shard is located near the Cartographer in the Round City region of Baghdad. 

Mysterious Shard Location 10

The tenth and final Mysterious Shard is located in the Administrative District in the north part of the Round City region. 

Note: As we mentioned earlier, the person holding the Mysterious Shard keeps moving around their respective region. Though, we can verify that they don't move too far from their initial location. Why Do You Need Mysterious Shard In Assassin's Creed Mirage?

You need the Mysterious Shards to complete "The Calling" quest, which is a part of "The Ancient Place" and Nehal's Investigation.
