With The Division 2 Year 5 Season 1, Ubisoft has brought a new rogue-lite game mode called Descent. It's an ever-changing and dynamic AR test simulation where players face hordes of enemies, environmental challenges, and a formidable boss named Nemesis.
The Descent features semi-infinite and random progression where players complete loops instead of levels. Along the way, players can unlock new skills, weapons, and talents that will allow them to sharpen their build and become increasingly more powerful. If players quit or die during Descent, they will lose all the items they have gained so far.
However, playing through Descent has long-term benefits as well, as players can get plenty of unique and valuable rewards. This guide covers everything players can earn by playing through the Descent mode in The Division 2.
All Descent rewards in The Division 2
In Descent, the rewards players earn depend on the maximum loops they reach. However, the type of reward they get depends on the player's character level at the end of their Descent run.
Level | Rewards |
1-29 |
Field Proficiency Cache containing Standard, Specialized, and Superior Quality Items |
11-29 | Weapon Crafting Cache or Gear Crafting Cache |
11-39 | Recalibration Cache |
30-40 | Crafting Cache containing crafting materials of all sorts. |
11-40 | Exotic Cache, excluding Raid Exotics |
30-39 | Simulation Cache containing Superior and High-End Quality Items |
40 | Simulation Cache containing High-End Quality Items with a 15% chance of dropping Gearsets and Named Gear & Weapons |
That's all the rewards players may get by playing The Division 2's Descent mode.
