The Day Before was a rollercoaster of a game "release." The zombie MMORPG seemed to have an interesting concept and was released into early access. However, after a huge backlash from the community surrounding the many glitches and poor performance of the game, not only was the title canceled, but the developers announced the closing of their studio as well. Needless to say, a majority of people will never get to experience The Day Before.
However, a modder relayed some interesting information on Twitter that could bring The Day Before back into the spotlight. User @realluci0 reported that The Day Before offline CRACK is in the works. The modding team plans to reroute the server connection to a local connection, which would theoretically give players access to the game.
There is no planned release date at this time, and the process is still very early in development. You can check out the full tweet down below:

The Day Before is still a very mediocre game and it's a wonder why people would go to such efforts just to play it. However, for people who want to experience just how bad a game can be, this offline mod may be their only shot.
