Texas Chain Saw Massacre might be known for being a 4v1 title like Dead by Daylight, but it'll soon have a single-player Museum Mode starting next week. The museum mode allows players to take a stroll - rather than a tense run - through the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre House.

Developers Gun Media dare players to "freely explore the mad and macabre of the iconic Family House. Along the way, you’ll discover puzzles and facts pulled from the history of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. But will you survive and what will be left of you?"

The new Museum Mode will definitely differ a lot from the main 4v1 game, but it sounds like it'll also offer players more than just a simple walk through the original TCSM house. Given the "puzzles and facts" scattered throughout the location, it seems likely there will be interesting gameplay involved that veers from the typical 4v1 loop.

Fans will be able to find the Museum Mode in the main menu starting on 1 August around 8AM PDT. The patch will also include some major changes to Grandpa Perks, and some minor tweaks to the The Mill map.
