Tarkov Gunsmith Part 21 Mechanic Quest Guide

After accomplishing Gunsmith Part 20 and progressing on Gunsmith Part 21, Mechanic will offer the most unique Gunsmith task yet, building two weapons for a single task. Within this task, we are requested to build both an M700 sniper rifle alongside an M1911 pistol. This is the first double-build we've been requested to complete by Mechanic and thankfully it's not immensely expensive. The rewards are worth the hassle that comes with this quest, having players earn an abundance of XP and something worth more than money, all for five minutes of your time.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 21

Gunsmith Part 21 will require a series of weapon attachments for the M700 and M1911 following these criteria:

M700

• 60 Durability
• 35 or more ergonomics
• 400 or less recoil
• 6 kg or less in weight
• 1500 or greater sighting range
• A silencer
• A magazine with a capacity of 5 or no magazine
• M700 AB Arms MOD*X GEN 3 chassis
• M700 AB Arms MOD*X GEN 3 KeyMod handguard
• M700 AB Arms MOD*X rail mount

M1911

• 60 Durability
• 200 or greater sighting range
• Any tactical device (such as the NcSTAR Tactical blue laser LAM-module)
• A magazine
• M1911 Pachmayr American Legend Grip #423
• M1911 Anarchy Outdoors .45 ACP muzzle brake

Players can purchase the standard M700 from Peacekeeper loyalty level three and the standard M1911 from Peacekeeper level one, obviously the M700 won't come particularly cheap once it's modified. The M700 and M1911 spawn in weapon containers across the map and spawn on scavs, specifically Sniper scavs that spawn on Customs, Woods, and Shoreline.

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 21

To complete Gunsmith Part 21, modify the M700 and M1911 with these attachments:

These weapons are easily obtainable from the traders although you might have trouble finding them in-raid. It's going to take a mental amount of time to locate these attachments in-raid and it most likely will only cost you 300k roubles to complete this task. However, if you're mad enough to find these attachments in-raid, weapon crates are where you'll find them. 

Gunsmith Part 21 Rewards

Here are the following rewards for Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 21 quest: 

• +27,700 EXP
• Mechanic Rep +0.03
• 1× Pistol case
• 50× 7.62x51mm M993
• Unlocks purchase of AR-15 HK Ergo PSG-1 style pistol grip at Mechanic LL4
• Unlocks purchase of Strike Industries Advanced Receiver Extension buffer tube (Black) at Mechanic LL4

Make sure you sell that Pistol case, you're not going to need it and you've likely just spent 300k roubles on the task. Although, you're now 27,700XP richer and closer to obtaining the Kappa container, being the greatest achievement in Escape from Tarkov!
