How to Respec Skills in Starfield

Are you wondering how to respec your skills in Starfield? Like previous BGS titles, Starfield features an elaborate skill tree with over 80 skills to unlock. These are spread across five categories - Physical, Social, Combat, Science, and Tech. 

The skill tree in Starfield provides plenty of options to build your ideal spacefaring adventurer, but if you're unsatisfied with your decisions or want to try a different build, you may be looking to respec your skills. Read on to find out whether you can respec your skills in Starfield or not, and if so, how to do it. 

Can you Respec Skills in Starfield?

No, you can't respec skills in Starfield. It isn't entirely surprising, given that most BGS titles didn't offer that option either. In Skyrim, Bethesda added the option to respec via a quest in the Dragonborn DLC. The studio could implement something similar with Starfield's DLC, but as of this writing, there's no way to respec or reset your skills. 

Thankfully, there's no level cap in Starfield, so if you spend enough time in the game, you may end up unlocking all the skills. However, that could take a while, especially since there are 82 skills to unlock. 

If you don't want to sink hundreds of hours into the game to unlock all skills, you could start a New Game Plus playthrough after finishing the main quest. It shouldn't take more than 15-20 hours to roll credits, which isn't much when you consider Starfield's overall scope and size.
