Kay Vess will not only discover secrets, encounter dangerous enemies, and acquire new abilities and skills but also accumulate some new drip to make her the most fashionable Scoundrel across the galaxy. As there are plenty of cosmetic sets to track down or be awarded during her epic adventure, there is a neat feature that can change her outfits' appearances in-game.

The transmog or transmogrify feature is present as a way for players to alter or change the appearance of clothing pieces or outfits without changing their gameplay stats or effects. This guide explains how players can perform transmogrification on clothing pieces or outfits for Kay Vess in Star Wars Outlaws.

How To Transmog Outfits In Star Wars Outlaws?

Transmog or transmogrify is a common customization feature in games that lets allows players to alter or change the cosmetic appearance of various items without losing any of their in-game stats, effects, and more. This feature is present in Star Wars Outlaws, as players can alter or change multiple items cosmetically within the Loadout section and not impact any of its valuable attributes if they have any.

It's important to reiterate that the transmog feature doesn't replace the cosmetic items currently equipped for her Loadout as it merely changes its appearance and nothing more; however, this feature is only applicable to Kay and not to Nix, sadly. To alter or change the appearance of the cosmetic items, they must access the Loadout menu either from the Main Menu under the Equipment tab or by accessing the Wardrobe area within the Trailblazer.

Once they've accessed the Loadout submenu, they'll have options for Clothing, Charms, and Nix, but the one to focus on is the Clothing options. At this point, players should have a few cosmetic items already available within the Wardrobe, of which they can select either the Chest, Waist, or Leg piece, where a few preset options will be provided.

They will have a few options to select a new piece to equip or "Change Appearance," which selecting the latter allows them to change a specific cosmetic item. This opens a new menu where they can choose the available pieces for a specific type (Chest, Waist, and Legs) to change their appearance cosmetically without impacting the currently equipped piece.

It's also important to note that any cosmetic item that states its appearance "can be applied to any item of the same type" for transmogrify, like the Kessel Runner and Sabacc sets. As implied, it must be of the same type as changing a Chest piece's appearance with another Chest piece, and the same conditions apply to the Waist and Legs, too.
