SMITE x Transformers - Battle pass announced: Release date, new skins, trailer, more

A bombshell of gaming news just dropped via the Hi-Rez Studios social media outlets after they announced the next battle pass for their popular online battle arena title, SMITE. In the past SMITE has seen crossovers with massive entertainment series like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Stranger Things.

It looks as though we're now set for yet another Hi-Rez promotion with a major cinematic series as a SMITE x Transformers battle pass is in the works. This crossover will be a popular one, seeing that Hi-Rez currently wrapping up a semi-re-run of the TMNT battle pass.

When does the SMITE x Transformers battle pass release?

Part of what made the SMITE x Transformers battle pass announcement so shocking was that it seemingly came out of nowhere. There were no teases in-game or on Hi-Rez outlets, and the most recent update show made no mention of the crossover.

Nonetheless, gamers have been buzzing since the Transformers announcement first broke, and for good reason. The SMITE x Transformers battle pass is just around the corner as it will arrive on 16th November 2021.

That means gamers will only have a few short weeks to try and stack up some extra gems, so make sure you're hitting that daily log-in bonus.

SMITE x Transformers battle pass skins

As per the trailer, there are three Transformers skins already confirmed that will feature as part of the battle pass. The first skin shown in the video is Jing Wei (Hunter) as Starstream from Transformers.

Next is Ra (Mage) as Megatron, the ultimate villain from the Transformers TV and Movie series. And lastly, Geb (Guardian) as Optimus Prime, the main protagonist, and everyone's favorite robot.
