Europe is without a doubt one of the toughest regions to win in any esport and Rocket League is a prime example of this.
The EU Winter Major finishes the second of three splits and we are nearing the end of RLCS X faster and faster.
With still ⅓ of the splits to go (the Spring Split following shortly after), it is “Do or Die” for orgs and pros alike. Every point on the leaderboard matters to make it to the endgame: the Rocket League World Championship.
Without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the RLCS EU Winter Major tournament.
RLCS X EU Winter Major schedule and how to watch
The EU Winter Major will be played from 20th to 21st February 2021, both days starting at 8 a.m. PST (4 p.m. UTC) and streaming on both official Rocket League Twitch and YouTube channels.
RLCS X EU Winter Major format
The RLCS X EU Winter Major tournament has the following format:

The top 12 teams in each region will qualify for their respective region's Winter Split Major

Each Regional Major will run two days

The format is a 12-team, double-elimination bracket

In the Grand Finals, the team coming from the Losers' Bracket will need to Bracket Reset their opponents coming from the Winners' Bracket.

All matches up to and including Winners' Quarterfinals and Losers' Round 2 are Bo5, all rounds beyond that stage are Bo7.

Points earnings are doubled
RLCS X EU Winter Major teams
12 teams will play in the RLCS X EU Winter Major. All teams have earned their spot through point ranking in the leaderboards or tiebreaker qualifiers.

RLCS X EU Winter Major prize pool
A total prize pool of $100,000 will be up for grabs in the RLCS X EU Winter Major tournament. Additionally, points are doubled depending on your placement.
RLCS points are used to establish your placement in the overall RLCS X leaderboards as only the Top 6 teams from the region will qualify for the RLCS X World Championship scheduled for May-June.

1st place: $36,000 and 802 points

2nd place: $18,000 and 600 points

3rd place: $12,000 and 500 points

4th place: $10,000 and 400 points

5th - 6th place: $5,000 and 320 points

7th - 8th place: $3,000 and 260 points

9th - 12th place: $2,000 and 200 points
