PS Plus August 2024 Adds Cult Of The Lamb, TimeSplitters, The Witcher 3

The PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) subscription service gives players access to hundreds of incredible gaming releases and exclusive and third-party titles in its growing catalog. Depending on the membership players have opted in, these include classic and virtual reality (VR) games, and this August sees plenty of notable additions across its membership tiers.

Sony has added multiple games to the PS Plus service's Extra and Premium tiers, with a handful of VR2 and Classic titles available starting on 20th August 2024. This announcement was revealed on the PlayStation (PS) Blog, including the classic TimeSplitters series and a few PS Plus re-releases for players to jump into their next adventures this month.

August 2024's PS Plus lineup was announced recently, and a bevy of new games are being added across the Extra and Premium tiers for PS4 and PS5 consoles. Some of the month's latest offerings include Wild Hearts Standard Edition, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Cult of the Lamb, the latter of which is celebrating its second anniversary and has recently released the Unholy Alliance update.

Several Sword Art Online titles will be available for PS4, including Alicization Lycoris, Fatal Bullet, and Hollow Realization, joining two PS Plus re-releases, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Watch Dogs 2. On the Classics front, an iconic PS2-era FPS trilogy is heading to PS4 and PS5 consoles this month, adding TimeSplitters, TimeSplitters 2, and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect to the Premium tier.
