As players dive into NBA 2K25, it'll quickly become clear that VC is absolutely necessary for just about everything in MyCAREER and MyTEAM. While you'll earn VC by naturally playing games and completing quests or challenges, there are always a few consistent ways to speed that process up. If you're looking to rack up some VC without giving 2K anymore money, we've got the best methods to get VC fast.
How to Grind VC in NBA 2K25
There are a few different ways to get VC in NBA 2K25, but the easiest way to rack up VC takes nothing more than a little patience and persistence. Most quests in MyCAREER can't be repeated, and even those that can usually require a waiting period. Fortunately, there's a way to skip that waiting period for one specific quest.
The Art of Shooting Challenge is a regular favorite among players. Not only does it quickly net you 500 VC, but players can complete it weekly (or bi-weekly or tri-weekly) to get a hot zone boost to shots for that week from a specific area of the court. You can normally choose between the three different types of challenge, but in this situation you'll always be picking the one-week version for speed.
All you have to do to repeat the Art of Shooting Challenge without the week-long waiting period is to make a new build and save in MyCAREER. None of the details of that new build matter, because you're only going to do one task and then make another build and repeat this process.
Head to the Art of Shooting Gym, knock out ten shots (it doesn't matter if you miss any of them), quit MyCAREER, make a new build, and repeat that process. While 500 VC might seem small, this is a great minimal effort VC grind. Even if it takes you five full minutes each time (it probably won't), that's at least 6,000 VC per hour.
Best Ways to Get VC in NBA 2K25
If you don't want to bother with the repetetive nature of a grind like that quest, it'll instead be best to focus on a combination of quests and maximizing your in-game VC earnings. While just about any good type of on-court play in streetball or NBA games will net you VC and a positive team grade, many players have found reliable success using The Ballburglar on your team against Double Dribble at The Sideline.
One extra possibility while working on streetball grinding is bringing in a friend for co-op, as this usually increases your chances and can make the process less tedious while simultaneously upgrading your badges and earning MyPOINTS. Whether you focus on dishing the ball out or
It's unclear if it'll continue all year, but so far there's been an easy 2,500 VC quest each week for completing a race at The Track, regardless of your time. If you're able to manage it, consider also raising the difficulty level. Higher difficulties will net larger VC rewards in NBA games, and you can help offset the challenge by getting your build on one of the best NBA teams.
