With the NFL season starting to get rolling, that also means it's time for players to jump into Madden 25 as the latest installment of this storied franchise continues to push forward. While most of the Madden 25 controls are going to be in line with what players saw last year, some may be seeking a refresher or wanting to confirm as they jump from College Football 25. If you wanna make every huge play and touchdown shine even brighter, you need to know how to celebrate in Madden 25.

Securing a critical first down or going up yet another touchdown on your opponent is already sweet, but being able to celebrate in Madden 25 is the icing on the cake. This isn't the No Fun League, so don't worry about the penalties over excessive celebration that once plagued the game. You can safely celebrate after any play.

If you want to celebrate, you'll actually get a prompt on-screen where you can move the Right Stick either up, down, left, or right to select four different celebration types. These vary by player, and Superstar Mode celebrations are unlocked in the Store or as rewards while leveling up and completing quests. Occasionally, team celebrations or post-play celebration cut scenes will automatically trigger without you having to press anything.

If you wanna really rub salt in the wound while heading in for a touchdown, you can actively celebrate during the run by holding LT and RT and A (on Xbox) or L2 and R2 and X (on PlayStation) to begin a celebration run. Be extremely careful about doing these, as it will both slow your speed to a crawl and make it extremely easy for defenders to force a fumble. Save those Madden 25 celebration runs for moments when you're absolutely sure a defender can't catch you before the touchdown is scored.
