Lost Ark developer Smilegate had launched their new competitive season, Proving Grounds, in March, which sees players competing against each other for prestige and rewards. In honour of the launch of the game's competitive season, Lost Ark has teamed up with G4 to announce a new competitive tournament.
The tournament, which will be livestreamed on 12th April 2022, will see eight teams compete for $20,000, plus the developer has a new Twitch Drop planned to drop during the tournament. This viewers' guide details what you need to know about the Lost Ark G4TV Invitational, including the schedule, how to watch and the Twitch Drop details.
Lost Ark G4TV Invitational - How to watch and schedule
The Lost Ark G4TV Invitational tournament will be held live on 12th April 2022 at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT on G4's Twitch channel. Additionally, you can watch the competitive action from the tournament live on their YouTube and TikTok channels.
According to the announcement post, the Lost Ark G4TV Invitational will follow a 3v3 competitive format in which eight teams will compete against each other. Following a double-elimination style bracket, teams will need to secure two wins in the best-of-three matches to advance in each round.
The finals will play out in the best-of-five matches, with the winning team needing three matches to secure the victory. With a $20,000 prize pool, all teams will want to avoid the double-elimination rounds and be the last team standing, winning the tournament and the fantastic cash prize.
With only 2 days left until the tournament, we’re happy to announce that @Sonii and @Renniesaurus will be joining us in the arena for our @playlostark PvP Invitational.
