Identity V: How To Skip The Tutorial

The Identity V tutorial gives new players a taste of how to play the game, walking you through how to play hunter, survivor, and even giving you the opportunity to test your newfound skills for yourself. However, if you don't want to play the tutorial or if you've played the game before, you might want to skip Identity V's tutorial.

Thankfully, this is possible. Here's how to skip the Tutorial in Identity V and whether doing so is a good idea.

How To Skip Tutorial In Identity V

If you want to skip the tutorial, you'll need to do so when you first open the game. It's a simple process, but you'll need to remember to check a few boxes while you're signing up.

After you open Identity V for the first time, the game will show you a small cutscene. Next, you'll type in the username you'd like to use. On this screen, you should see a small button that says 'Skip Tutorial' in the upper right. This is your only chance to check that checkbox, so go ahead and do so if you don't want to play through the opening levels.

After typing in your name and checking the checkbox, click the 'Signature' button. The game will ask you one more time if you're sure you want to skip the tutorial, mentioning that it is not recommended for new players to skip it. If you're certain you want to do so, click 'Confirm.' Otherwise, you can always press or click 'Cancel' to go back and change your decision.

Should You Skip The Tutorial In Identity V?

If you're a new player, it's probably worth playing through Identity V's tutorial levels at least once. Otherwise, you might feel like a fish out of water during your first game unless you've played similar 4v1 games like Dead by Daylight. Still, Identity V differs in many ways from DBD - namely that in the former game, every survivor has unique abilities of their own beyond perks that can be mix-and-matched between characters.

If you're interested in the game's main story, it's also important to play the tutorial; it explains the background behind the game's lore and sets the stage for who all of the characters are.

Furthermore, successfully completing the tutorial also grants you some Clues, making it one of the fastest ways to get Clues in Identity V for new players.
