All Honkai Star Rail Warps Explained

Players can summon on Honkai Star Rail Warps to obtain new characters and Light Cones. In total, there are four different types of Warps in Honkai Star Rail. we'll break down each of these individually. 

Standard Warp

The Standard Warp is a permanent banner that will never rotate. It includes the general pool of four and five-star characters available at the start of the game and requires Star Rail Passes to use. Players are guaranteed a random five-star character after every 90 pulls on the Standard banner. Additionally, after pulling 300 times on the Standard Warp, players will be able to select a free five-star character of their choice from the standard list of units. 

Departure Warp

The Departure Warp is a one-time-only Warp for new players. It will disappear after the player has pulled on it fifty times. However, players can summon this banner at a discounted rate of 20%. Additionally, players are also guaranteed a five-star character from the standard unit list within those 50 pulls. 

Event Warp

The Event Warp is a limited-time banner usually lasting about three weeks. Rate-up characters have their summoning chance boosted during this time. If you manage to pull a rate-up character, there is a 50% chance it will be the banner unit. This means players will need to summon 180 times in total if luck is not on their side. 

Event Warps are separated into character and Light Cone banners, meaning players will need a ton of summoning currency in order to guarantee to grab both an event character and an event Light Cone.
