Honkai Star Rail Release New Pure Fiction Game Mode

As of January 8, 2024, the brand-new endgame mode in Honkai Star Rail, Pure Fiction, has been released. This mode will refresh every six weeks and requires players to take on endless waves of enemies while earning points for the number of waves completed. 60,000 points are currently required for players to earn three stars and claim all of the available rewards. 

Like Memory of Chaos, Trailblazers can bring two teams of four to tackle this challenge, and characters with strong AOE abilities are highly recommended. Argenti, Jingliu, and Dan Heng IL are all strong contenders for optimal DPS choices in this game mode. 

That being said, what's surprising is how Pure Fiction has brought some characters back into the spotlight. Both Herta and Himeko are great in this mode, as they can dispatch waves of low-power enemies without the need for turn cycling, thanks to their follow-up attacks. 

By completing Pure Fiction, players will be able to obtain a free copy of the Quantum healer character Lynx. 

It is great to see more endgame content being added to Honkai Star Rail, and content like this that brings a resurgence to long-forgotten characters will never go amiss.
