In Honkai: Star Rail, light cones work as skill cards that provides passive buffs. Every character type has a different set of light cones, which you can unlock by completing quests, from the warp, and by progressing the Nameless Glory (battle pass).
Increasing your Nameless Glory (battle pass) rank up to 30 will also let you choose between one of the seven battle pass light cones. Since you can only choose one, here's our guide explaining the best battle pass light cones in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best battle pass light cones in Honkai: Star Rail
Before we get into the best battle pass light cones, it's important to point out that all seven of them are incredibly powerful in their own right, and their value solely depends on your requirements. Keeping that in mind, here are three battle pass light cones that stood out among the rest for us.
Warmth Shortens Cold Night
Type: Path of Abundance
Ability: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 16%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies' HP by an amount equal to 2.0% of their respective Max HP.
There's a surprising shortage of healers in Honkai's current roaster, with Bailu and Natasha being the only ones. Chances are, you will bring at least one of them to every battle. Hence, it's best to get the Warmth Shorten Cold Night light cone which will significantly increase the healing effects of both these characters.
Type: Path of Preservation
Ability: Increases the wearer's DEF by 16%. Increased the DMG of the wearer when they use their Ultimate by 60% of the wearer's DEF. This effect can only apply 1 time per enemy target.
Unlike the Abundance characters, the Preservation characters not just provide support but also deal various elemental damage. Whether you prefer March 7th or Gepard, you would want to increase their defense first and foremost. This light cone allows you to do that and increase the damage of the character's ultimate ability. It can come in handy in the strangest of situations, for instance, in a boss battle where all your characters are dead except the support, and the boss doesn't have much health left.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
Type: Path of Harmony
Ability: At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer's turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies' ATK increases by 10%, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 12%, or all allies' Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 6%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of a similar type cannot be stacked.
It's easily one of the most effective light cones among all the Treasure of the Starry Seas, with its three unique but equally important buffs. Whether you're bringing Tingyun or Bronya to the battle, this will allow you to randomly buff your allies' attack, critical damage, or energy regeneration at the beginning of the battle, giving you the much-needed edge when fighting bosses or exploring higher-levels of Simulated Universe.
And that's all the best battle pass light cones in Honkai: Star Rail.
