Players have access to three kinds of elemental abilities in Ghostwire Tokyo, namely, fire, water, and wind abilities. While these are powerful enough to get you through the early stages of the game, you'll only see their real utility in the late game once they are upgraded, and to do so, you'll need to find the Jizo statues.
These statues can be situated in obscure or hidden spots around the map, and finding them can be tedious. So to help you, this guide will contain everything you need to find all the Jizo statues in the Kuo Shrine area of Ghostwire Tokyo.
Ghostwire Tokyo Jizo Statue Kuo Shrine Location
In Ghostwire Tokyo, players must progress through the game until they reach Chapter 4 to access shrine locations like Kuo. Once they have reached this point, players can start searching for Jizo statues in Kuo and other shrine locations, and trust us; you'll need them for the next few levels.
Each Jizo statue provides a boost to the player's elemental strength for one specific element. For example, discovering a wind statue enhances the player's wind element and improves their overall combat skills.
Kuo Shrine has two Jizo statues, but it can be challenging to locate them during battles. To help players find them, a breakdown is provided below.
Jizo Statue 1: Wind Statue (Wind SP +1)
The first Jizo statue in Kuo is located east of the Kuo shrine until you find a highway. Here you will need to follow the highway east until you find scaffolding with wood supports.
Behind the wood of one of these pieces of scaffolding is where you'll find the Jizo. It can be hard to spot, so use the map reference above and simply check all along the highway until you find the statue.
Jizo Statue 2: Wind Statue (Wind SP +1)
The second statue can be found in the northeast area of the Kuo shrine. As you head in this direction, you're looking for a large building near a convenience store, which is also visible on the top right corner of the map if you use your main map to scout it out.
The Jizo statue is located on the far side of the building and can be found with a bit of searching. For some extra help, you can use your Spectral Vision to point it out once you're near the building.
And that's everything you need to know to find the Jizo statues located in the Kup shrine area. Be sure to keep your wits about you as there may be enemies lurking, but with the power of your new upgrades from the Jizo statue, they should be no match for you.
