While running from baddies in Five Nights at Freddy's, you'll normally want to get away as quickly as you can. This means making a run for it, and often diving right into the ominous Ball Pit. Tripping isn't usually a good thing - but sometimes, in Into the Pit, apparently, it is.
There are some times in Into the Pit that you'll actually want to trip and fall on purpose - mostly so you can get several of the game's secret achievements. Here's how to trip and fall in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit.
How To Trip In FNAF: Into the Pit
To trip, you'll need to stumble over while running. You'll likely do so accidentally a few times throughout the game, but you'll need to know how to trigger a fall on purpose if you want to get all of the achievements. Some of them require tripping quite a few times.
To increase the rate of times you trip, you'll want to head to an open area during the Day. (You can do this during the Night, too, but you risk getting caught by animatronics and will raise your noise meter). Then, you can run from side to side. Oswald will trip every now and then, adding to your count.
There are three achievements related to tripping in Into The Pit:
- Big Kid - Trip 5 times.
- Toddler - Trip 20 times.
- Baby - Trip 100 times.
As you can see, you'll need to fall down quite a few times to get the Baby achievement. This needs to be done in one playthrough, but you likely won't fall that many times just through your usual gameplay. So, you'll want to find a place to run back and forth to trip as many times as you can manage. You'll just want to make sure it's safe, and free from enemies - which is why it's best to do this during the day.
Tripping in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit is extremely simple, and you'll likely do so within each of your playthroughs. However, knowing how to do so intentionally will let you get one step closer to earning all of the achievements and 100%-ing the game.
