Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit gives players a lot of flexibility about how things end up for you and other characters. Depending on how you play, you'll have a completely different experience throughout, and you'll get to check out an ending that aligns with your choices. Some endings are better than others, but you'll need to get them all to earn all of the achievements and 100% the title.

Here's how to get all of the endings in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit so you can experience them for yourself.

What Am I Ending - 0 Stars

what am i
The What Am I ending is the worst ending in the game.

The What Am I? Ending is the 0 star ending, and it's arguably one of the saddest endings in the game. This is one you'll probably want to avoid getting more than once. To get it, all you'll have to do is play the game as normal until night five - here, you'll want to fail the quick-time event that shows up when you're trying to save Oswald's dad.

You'll presumably fail to save him, causing Oswald to fade into the darkness near the animatronics as his eyes light up eerily -  likely implying he'll become an animatronic himself.

Pit-y Party Ending - 1 Star (Bad End)

springtrap into the pit
Springtrap drags Oswald into the ball pit in the bad end.

The Pit-y Party Ending is the ending you'll probably get if you're playing the game for the first time without looking up a walkthrough, as it simply requires completing the game and not failing the quick-time event. Though it's the ending most players will probably get, it's the bad ending, and is only 1 star.

In this ending, Oswald's dad survives - but Pit Bonnie drags Oswald into the ballpit and ties him up, implying Oswald himself might not be as lucky as his father.

Jeff? Ending - 2 Stars (Normal End)

jeff ending
Jeff dies in this unfortunate 2 star ending, but Oswald and his father survive.

To the Jeff? ending, you'll complete the game as normal and get all of Oswald's father's items he's lost. Then, you'll need to pick up the picture in the Party Room, free the girl, and succeed at the quick-time event.

In this ending, Pit Bonnie ends up killing Jeff after everyone thought he was dead.

Family Fun Night Ending - 3 Stars (Good End)

family fun ending
The Family Fun Ending is the best in the game.

Getting the best, 3-star ending, Family Fun Night, requires you to complete the game as normal but also complete a few other special tasks:

  • You'll need to first collect all of the items Oswald's dad lost, and then head to the Party Room to free the girl in there.
  • Play all the arcade games until you collect three stickers. To get access to the rest of the arcade games you'll need to complete, interact with the Prize Voucher Machine, call Oswald's Mom on Night 5, and interact with the candy machine later on.
  • At the ending, successfully hit the quick-time event.

This ending features both Oswald and his father surviving, as well as Jeff's pizza now being busy with lots of patrons.

See Ya Dad Ending - 1 Star (Bonus End)

see ya dad ending
The See Ya Dad ending is one of the sadder ones.

The See Ya Dad Ending is one of the easiest ones to get and is an optional ending. To get it, play through the game normally until you meet Pit Bonnie and go to Freddy's Pizzeria. From here, simply walk out the front entrance. Oswald will find himself in a completely different year, baffled as to what's going on.
