Final Fantasy 14 Viper Job Release Date

Final Fantasy 14 fans are gearing up for the launch of the famed MMORPG's next expansion — Dawntrail. With so much to look forward to, from new Main Scenario Quests to new Dungeons and everything in between, 2024 certainly can't come soon enough. But fans are especially eager to get their hands on the new Jobs rolling out during the expansion, the first of which is Viper.

This new dual wielding melee DPS job gives players another option outside of Ninja, and will be a Final Fantasy 14-exclusive class. There's no required class needed to pick up Viper, but players will need to have at least one Job at level 80. But there's still plenty of time to get there until this new Job releases. Here's what we know.

When Is The Viper Job Available In Final Fantasy 14?

Players looking to get their hands on Dawntrail will be first in line to try out Viper, as this new class will be launching alongside the new expansion. Dawntrail is set to launch on July 2, 2024. An early access period will be available, which begins on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2:00 a.m. (PDT).

Viper won't be the only new Job arriving in Dawntrail. A new ranged magical DPS Job will also be available during the expansion. At the Final Fantasy 14 London 2023 Fan Fest, director Naoki Yoshida confirmed that this new Job will be revealed at Tokyo Fan Fest.
